Memorable line from Mel Robbins

I've been listening Mel Robbins' The Let Them Theory on my daily walks. I was so blown away by one particular line, I stopped in the middle of the sidewalk and sent it to myself in a text: "Most people can only meet you as deeply as they've met themselves."

I would add, you can only meet other people as deeply as they've met themselves. Translation: Don't think you're going to be the one to make them see the light. Save your heart and time for people who want what you have to offer and are ready to receive it.

The people who are right for you are already working on themselves.
